Passengers with Children Under 3 Years of Age

  • Up to 2 children under 3 years of age may be accompanied by a single adult. However, an airplane ticket must be purchased for one of the children, and the children must be seated individually in child safety seats (children 2 years old may sit on their own without a child safety seat).

    • It is the responsibility of the passenger to provide a child safety seat. Learn more.
  • Pregnant passengers within 28 days of their due date who are accompanying children may accompany up to 1 child. An airplane ticket must be purchased for the child, and the child must be seated individually in a child safety seat (children 2 years old may sit on their own without a child safety seat).
  • Babies may board if 8 days old or above after birth.
  • There is a limit to the number of babies and infants who can board, so please inform the appropriate office at the time of reservation/purchase.
  • On the boarding date, a boarding pass for children under 3 years of age who will not be using a seat is required. Please inform the staff during the boarding procedure.

  • If a form other than the prescribed AIRDO Medical Information Form is used, please have it ready specifying that you are allowed to travel using an aircraft.

  • Pregnant passengers whose due date is within 28 days of their flight should bring their medical certificate to the airport counter on the departure date.

Advance Seat Selection

Seats can be selected at the time of the reservation and purchase. Book your seat(s) up to 4 days in advance before the boarding date to the time you've purchased an airplane ticket.

Notes:
  • Advance seat selection is also available to passengers with children under 3 years of age and passengers accompanying them through the Reservation and Information Center even before purchasing an airplane ticket.
  • Due to safety reasons, pregnant passengers and passengers with children under 8 years of age are not allowed to sit in a seat next to an emergency exit.
  • Selected seats are subject to change due to changes in aircraft, etc.
  • There is a limit to the number of seats which can be selected in advance.

Pre-boarding Service

Passengers with children under 3 years of age as well as pregnant passengers are allowed to board before other passengers. If you wish to use this service, please go to the boarding gate approximately 30 minutes before the boarding time.

  • This service may not be available due to flight status, etc.

Stroller Rentals

Strollers are available for passengers with babies. Strollers may be used up to the boarding gate at the departure airport, and from the outside of the jet bridge to the arrival lobby at the arrival airport. If you wish to use a stroller, please inform the counter staff at the departure airport.

Notes:
  • There is a limit to the number of strollers available for rental.
  • Passenger's personal strollers cannot be brought aboard. Remove any attached accessories and check them at the baggage counter.
  • If you wish to use an AIRDO stroller at the arrival airport, you may be asked to exit the airplane last depending on the airport.

Other Services

  • Paper diapers (medium-sized) are available within the cabin.
  • Diaper changing tables are located in cabin restrooms.
  • If you have milk, the cabin crew will store and serve it to you. Tell the cabin crew if you prefer to use this service.
  • Passenger strollers checked at the counter at the time of departure are given priority when returned (other baggage checked together with strollers are returned in the typical fashion).
