Shareholder Incentives

AIRDO issues complimentary shareholder's tickets to everyone who owns shares in the company as shown in the table below.

Standard Issuance Date

Shareholders as of March 31 of each year (Complimentary shareholder's tickets are sent out in late September.)

Issued once a year; the number of tickets issued is as shown in the table below.

5000-9999 shares 173 tickets at 5,000 shares Plus 1 ticket for every additional 100 shares
10,000 or more shares 223 tickets at 10,000 shares Plus 1 ticket for every additional 500 shares

Period of Validity

Complimentary shareholder's tickets are valid for one year, from October 1 to September 30 the following year.

Note:
  • A flight ticket acquired during the period of validity may be used to board a flight at any time during the flight ticket's period of validity.

Valid Users

Complimentary shareholder's tickets may be used by anyone, shareholders and non-shareholders alike.

Applicable Conditions

Conditions of use Complimentary shareholder's tickets can be used as follows:
  • Use of one ticket confers a 25% discount on a one-way flight for one customer on one route on the boarding date.
  • Use of two tickets confers a 50% discount on a one-way flight for one customer on one route on the boarding date.
Notes:
  • In the case of passengers aged 3 to 11, the discount is applied to the child fare.
  • This discount cannot be combined with other discounts.
Reservations From 9:30 a.m. two months prior to the boarding date to the boarding date itself
To make a reservation, please contact the Reservation and Information Center, or visit an AIRDO airport counter or travel agency.
Payment deadline

20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of the reserved flight

Note:
  • When making the reservation, you must indicate that you are using a complimentary shareholder's ticket.
Purchasing Tickets can be purchased at an AIRDO airport counter or travel agency.
Your complimentary shareholder's ticket will be taken when you purchase your flight ticket.
Change The flight you have reserved can be changed.
However, the passenger's name and route indicated on the flight ticket cannot be changed.
Period of validity for flight tickets With a reservation: Valid up until the reserved flight
Without a reservation: Valid on the day issued* and the following 90-day period
* This is the date on which the credit card payment is made or the date on which the company confirms payment in cash.
Refunds
  • Flight tickets can be refunded within the flight ticket's period of validity and for up to 10 days afterward, starting on the day after the ticket expires.
  • There is a refund processing fee of JPY 430 per route plus a fixed cancellation fee.
  • Refunds can be processed by AIRDO ticket counters or by the travel agency where the flight ticket was purchased.
  • If you are getting a refund within the period of validity of the complimentary shareholder's ticket, you will be issued a "Complimentary Shareholder's Ticket Proof of Non-Usage". During the period of validity, you may provide that "Complimentary Shareholder's Ticket Proof of Non-Usage" to receive the discount again.
Boarding procedures Boarding procedures are carried out at the airport counter.
Online reservations

Make a reservation for a one-way flight, and then contact the Reservation and Information Center.

Note:
  • Flight tickets cannot be purchased online.
Remarks
  • Complimentary shareholder's tickets cannot be used in combination with other discounts.
  • Complimentary shareholder's tickets cannot be used past their period of validity.
  • Complimentary shareholder's tickets cannot be reissued.
  • Complimentary shareholder's tickets cannot be bought or sold.
