Notice of Mandated Security Inspections under Civil Aeronautics Law of Japan

In accordance with the amendment of Civil Aeronautics Law of Japan, security inspections before boarding will be mandated from March 10,2022.
Penetrating the security gate without having the inspection is a violation of the law and may be subject to imprisonment of up to 1 year or fines not more than JPY 500,000. So, please follow the directions of security inspectors or other related staff, and be sure to undergo security checks.
Hurtful items as weapons and dangerous goods are prohibited to bring into the aircraft by Civil Aeronautics Law of Japan.
Violation of the regulation may be subject to punishment, so please check your baggage before your travel and make sure if you have or not any items prohibited(※1) or restricted(※2)to bring into the aircraft.
- (※1)Prohibited items ・・・ items which are prohibited to bring into the cabin such as edge tools such as cutter blades, carpenter tools and their imitation goods
- (※2)Restricted items ・・・ items which are restricted to transport by an aircraft such as spray cans, hair curling irons with built-in lithium batteries and mobile batteries, etc.
