To customers who are using Haneda Airport
during the period of Saturday, October 19 to Saturday, October 26, 2019
Thank you very much for flying with AIRDO.
Due to the arrival and departure of numerous foreign VIPs during the period of Saturday, October 19 to Saturday, October 26, 2019, traffic restrictions that affect expressways and general roadways within central Tokyo are in place on and around Tuesday, October 22, and Wednesday, October 23 in particular.
We would ask that customers who depart from Haneda Airport during this period use public transportation, which is minimally affected by the traffic restrictions, and that you arrive at the airport with extra time to spare. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Furthermore, security checks have been strengthened at airports nationwide since Friday, September 13. Because of this as well as additional measures taken during the Rugby World Cup (the prohibition of small unmanned airplanes inside airplane cabins), further time may be required for security checks at this time. Please come to the airport with plenty of time to spare.
Delays in scheduled flights might occur during this period due to the arrival and departure of numerous foreign VIPs in Japan, particularly with flights that fly to and from Haneda Airport. We would like to ask our customers for their understanding in this matter.
