Notice Regarding Smart Baggage

Thank you for your patronage of AIRDO.

We have revised our policy regarding smart baggage (also known as "smart luggage" and "smart bags") that are equipped with lithium batteries. Passengers who have this type of baggage are requested to comply with the following rules.

・The baggage where the lithium battery, other than lithium button cells, cannot be removed from the smart baggage, the smart baggage is not acceptable as carry-on or checked baggage.

 Smart baggage which have removable lithium batteries are acceptable as both checked and carry-on baggage. However, when checking in smart baggage, the lithium battery, other than lithium button cells, must be removed. The removed lithium battery can then be taken on board as carry-on baggage.

 Carry-on baggage has limit of size and weight

What is Smart Baggage?
The term "smart baggage" refers to bags, suitcases, etc., which have batteries installed in them for purposes such as charging other electronic devices.
