About the 'New Hokkaido Style' Initiatives

What is the New Hokkaido Style?
The fight against COVID-19 continues.
Therefore, we must work together and follow the government's "New Lifestyle" guidelines, and change our lifestyle and way of doing business within Hokkaido. Through gathering all the knowledge of those people related to Hokkaido, making the various initiatives visible, and working together as residents and business owners and operators, we can lower the risk of infection across the region.
By doing so, we can continue our business operations, but also expand our business opportunities.
The New Hokkaido Style is the way to realize this goal.
So, let's bring our hearts together and step into a new stage of Hokkaido, existing in a world rife with COVID-19.

Please wear masks in all areas throughout the airport, and at all times while onboard an aircraft. Please prepare and bring your own masks.
* Infants, small children, and those unable to use masks due to health conditions are exempted from this policy.

We request any customers who feel unwell, or are experiencing symptoms, such as fever, severe feeling of fatigue or malaise, or difficulty breathing, to please refrain from boarding the aircraft.
Any customers experiencing the above symptoms are required to consult with a specialized medical institution to determine if boarding is possible.

In some cases, air disinfectant products used to prevent spread of the novel coronavirus are restricted for transport by aircraft.
- Examples of Restricted Products
Taiko Pharmaceutical 'Cleverin' (including in-place bottle, pen, and hook types) and similar products
* Other types of disinfectant products which are directly applied to the skin, such as gels, may be brought onboard or checked as luggage.
Please be certain to confirm that your disinfectants are allowed prior to boarding.
In accordance with social distancing measures, please ensure that you maintain distance with other passengers when queueing for automated check-in machines or at counters.

If you are unable to use SKiP Service or automated check-in machines, our staff will assist you at airport counters. Plastic curtains or acrylic barriers are installed at our counters, and our staff wear masks.

Our staff periodically disinfect surfaces touched by customers, such as the screens of automated check-in machines, and loaned items including wheelchairs and baby carriages.

In accordance with social distancing measures, please cooperate to maintain distance with other passengers while queuing at airport security.

When passing through the ticket gate, our staff will confirm that each passenger is wearing their mask correctly. Our staff will speak with any customers who are not wearing masks. Customers who do not cooperate with mask requirements may be denied boarding.
* Infants, small children, and those unable to use masks due to health conditions are exempted from this policy.

In accordance with social distancing policies, while passing through ticket checking machines, please comply with staff instructions to maintain distance with other passengers.
Furthermore, effective June 19th, 2020, we have changed our group boarding divisions from two groups to six groups.

To prevent spread of infection through airborne droplets, our staff wear masks. Furthermore, in areas which do not have plastic curtains, or in situations where lengthy interaction with customers may be necessary, staff may also use equipment such as face shields.

Onboard the aircraft, please be certain to wear your mask at all times.
