Cases When the SKiP Service Cannot Be Used

You cannot use the SKiP Service if any of the points below apply.
Proceed to the departure security inspection after completing the boarding procedure.

  • *1 If a single reservation using the Disability Discount Fare includes 2 or more routes, the SKiP Service can be used from the boarding of the second route using the same fare. However, if the flight was purchased at a travel agency or airport counter, the SKiP Service can be used from the first route as long as it satisfies the conditions of the SKiP Service.
  • *2 If a single reservation using the DOMIN Fare, DO Senior 60, or the Welcome to HOKKAIDO Fare includes 2 or more routes, the SKiP Service can be used from the boarding of the second route using the same fare.

In addition to the above, if procedures done by staff such as confirmation of identification are necessary, the SKiP Service cannot be used.

2. Cases where the conditions of the SKiP Service are not satisfied
  • The reservation, payment, or seat selection are not complete
  • The passenger does not have a 2D Barcode (even if the reservation is for multiple persons, a 2D Barcode is required for each passenger)
  • The passenger is accompanying a child aged 2 years or younger, and does not have a 2D Barcode for the child
3. Cases relating to reservation details
  • A child of 2-7 years of age is not accompanied by a passenger 12 years of age or above with the same reservation
  • A difference in the price of the fare from the time of payment and the time of boarding has occurred
  • The itinerary of 1 reservation includes flight connections using 4 or more routes
  • Flight connection itineraries are reserved separately (the SKiP Service may be used for each of the individual routes)
  • A flight change has been made due to delay, cancellation, etc.
4. Other
  • Special assistance such as wheelchair use or AIRDO Kids is needed when boarding
  • Boarding procedures are stopped due to reasons like severe weather
