Business Plan Regarding the Protection of the Public

AIRDO has created a "Business Plan Regarding the Protection of the Public" on the basis of Article 36 of the Law Concerning Measures for Protection of the Civilian Population in Armed Attack Situations (the Civil Protection Law). An overview and the text of this plan are given below.

Plan Overview

  1. Plan objectives and basic measures
    This section describes the purpose of the plan and basic measures concerning the implementation of public protection measures related to the company's business operations, including the sharing of information with the public, cooperation with related institutions, independent decisions regarding the implementation of public protection measures, and measures to ensure safety.
  2. Preparedness during normal times
    This section describes the preparation of information, communication, and transmission systems as well as facility management and transportation systems during normal times.
  3. Dealing with armed attack situations
    This section describes action mechanisms (such as the establishment of special headquarters) for dealing with the occurrence of armed attack situations, ensuring safety when implementing public protection measures, cooperating with related institutions, sharing information with passengers and others, managing essential facilities, and transporting evacuees and emergency cargo.
  4. Dealing with emergency situations
    This section describes the implementation of emergency protection measures to take when emergency situations occur, on the basis of our handling of armed attack situations.
  5. Appropriate plan reviews
    This section describes implementation and other matters related to appropriate examinations and reviews of the contents of this plan.
